There are some laugh out loud moments in The Heat and the performances by Bullock and McCarthy are great. When there aren't laughs though you realize how predictable and pedestrian the story is. Therefore the movie probably won't have much replay value.
But if your looking for a raunchy comedy with some laughs then The Heat will do just fine.
