Review of The Heartbreak Kid (2007) by Zach G — 20 Apr 2010
Ben Stiller plays Eddie, a hopeless romantic who can never find love. Then one day he meets Lila and the two have instant chemistry. After a short time of dating, he proposes to keep her with him instead of her having to move off for her job. The two then go down to Mexico to celebrate where Lila starts showing her true self and Eddie tries to get away. In the meantime, he meets Miranda who is on vacation with her family and the two start to fall for one another. Now Eddie tries to keep his "secret" wife at bay while he enjoys time with Miranda and thinks of a way to tell Lila that its over.
A really funny movie and Ben Stiller does what he does best with whitty comedy and akward situations.
