Review of The Heartbreak Kid (2007) by El P — 11 Jul 2010
Malin Akerman gets some decent moments here, but otherwise this is a bust. Towards the beginning it almost seems like it might overcome the ick factor of the premise (a couple breaks up on their honeymoon) by making it clear that these two really rushed into things and shouldn't have been married in the first place, but that doesn't last.
It just gets lazy and sort of hateful.
