Review of The Heartbreak Kid (2007) by Adam F — 27 Aug 2010
Don't have high hopes for this Farrelly Bros. movie. The movie starts out slow and never finds it's legs. Sure there are a few laughs along the way, but every good character is under utilized. Danny McBride and Rob Corddry are the best things about this movie and there only are given a few minutes of screen time.
The jokes felt tired and my biggest complaint is that the Farrelly's never decided if they wanted this to be an over the top comedy or something more simple and it awkwardly fell somewhere in between.
