OK, not as consistently hilarious as some other Stiller classics, but at least all that vacuous lack of foundation and lack of commitment in the marriage relationship portrayed in this film has a much more believable unresolved ending than most farcical screwball comedies manage in their addiction to happily-ever-after.
At least they reap what they sow...
