Review of The Heart of the Game (2005) by Pavan S — 06 Dec 2007
As an avid basketball fan and a very cynical women's basketball fan, I was surprised at the effect this documentary had on me. It is an excellent film that really brings a high school womens basketball team to life and shows just how much basketball can shape lives.
The movie is a out taking risks, being able to persevere through the hardships, and then finding a family you love among the journey. It's definitely an uplifting story in an all too pessimistic age.
