RENT THIS NOW! It's a documentary about a girls high school basketball team and the coach who leads them. It's got an ending that couldn't have been scripted better, young women striving to achieve and a coach that does a great job bringing the best out of the girls.
It looks at the obstacles that young women face, and takes a close look at Darnelia Russel, an African American teen who comes from her primarily black neighborhood to play for a high school that is predominantly white, and what that is like for her.
I haven't seen Hoop Dreams in a while, but this is along the same lines, only looking more at the team than two individuals.
