Review of The Hawk Is Dying (2007) by Brandon M — 18 Jun 2007
Once again, Paul Giamatti has shown himself to be one of the most talented actors of the day. Although the film is slow, the plot is worth it, but more than that is George's journey. Giamatti does well at portraying complexities once again, this time garners even more acclaim due to the fact that he spends most of the film with a live hawk attached to his arm.
A definite must for Giamatti fans, or if you have the desire to see one of the best monologues in modern cinema.
