The Haunting of Mary Hartley is a completely useless film, not scary in the least. relying as it does on in-your-face purple flashes of spooks. The plot is full of holes, the acting is terrible, and the ending is absurd.
I'm ashamed of myself for watching it. I figured it might not be great, but I didn't count on it being embarrassing.
