Review of The Haunting in Connecticut (2009) by Valerie P — 06 Mar 2010
The whole seance, ectoplasma thing does intrigue me. Apparently this movie was based on a true story, so that too makes a difference. How much the truth was stretched is not exactly clear, but I'm guessing quite the license was taken.
This type of film always seems to lack characterization. The basis is the strange happenings, not the people. I found I didn't care whether the haunted people lived or died. Oh, and then there's the eyelids.
