1 - Unsatisfying if totally absurd ghost story clearly based on truly "bogus" events. Here, the ghosts appear all too frequently with gratingly loud thuds (not what true horror should be about), which is pretty much the only trick the film makers have, since the story itself is as creepy as Ghostbusters with really, really serious acting.

So a while ago, a mortician steals bodies to create an amplification device that will give power to a child medium to produce ectoplasmic appearances during seances, but it all goes wrong and curses the house.

The ghosts are not happy because the mortician removed their eyelids once they were dead. In the 80s a family with a cancer riddled boy moves into the house. Because the boy is sick and on medication, he begins to have visions of the dead living within the house, until the point in which we get to see him wielding an axe Amityville style.

But it turns out he's still good and with the help of a sickly priest, he releases the cursed spirits, who then in gratitude cure his cancer. Really, how can this crap be taken seriously? -.
