Pretty bad. Random jump scares and things that don't make sense. No consistency and no way can this be based on any true story. The only cool scene was at about the last 15 minutes when the kid takes an ax to the house, then it got stupid again.
The editing was very heavy handed and showed no skill or subtlety.
