Although it did rely on jumps and scares, you really can't deny it, but you also can't say you didn't jump! It was relatively mediocre in terms of genre definition and originality but it made up for with dramatic horror and fairly spooky tension.
Although I wouldn't put this anywhere near memorable movie standards, it was still a decent watch and for any horror fan a one to casually recommend.
