Review of The Haunting in Connecticut 2: Ghosts of Georgia (2013) by Dustin I — 12 May 2013
It has an interesting story and a great supernatural tale lay buried beneath its quick cuts and strange edits but it is exactly these things that keep it from being chilling. It feels too forced at times although there are less than a handful of moments that are genuinely unnerving.
The cast is an able group that works with what they've got and the ghosts are well imagined. It's a good movie for a dark rainy day but not much more. Sometimes that's just enough to fit the bill.
