Review of The Haunting (1999) by Alex R — 06 Mar 2012
I originally saw this on TV so I thought that they just edited out the good parts for TV and that's why it sucked so bad. I watched it again this last Halloween, this time renting it. I was wrong, it was just a bad movie. The acting is bad, the "scares" aren't even scary and it totally destroyed the the story from the original movie (and at that time I haven't seen the original so I had nothing to compare it to). And the end message is unsatisfying.
Just don't watch this movie.
