Review of The Haunted Mansion (2003) by Kit G — 11 Sep 2008
I saw this one only out of my deep-seated obsession with the Disney ride; I mainly wanted to sit through it and pick out ride references. It was fun to see some of the ride elements brought to the big screen (singing busts, Madame Leota's crystal ball, etc), and while some of the effects were neat, the plot was terribly thin and hokey.
Wish they'd stuck more with the atmosphere found in the ride itself, which is amazing.
