Review of The Haunted Mansion (2003) by Deadly Night S — 05 Aug 2008
I have to give this movie a better review than what I had originally given it. The use of elements from the Disneyland ride was great, as they stuck very close to the material they were given by Walt Disney himself.
This was probably one of the few Eddie Murphy movies in which he shines as an actor, as most of his newer work is...shall we say not so great? It's got some suprisingly creepy elements, so many at times that I wouldn't recommend this film to very young children--especially the mausoleum scene where the skeletons come to life.
