In a world, where films are boring and predictable reboots, remakes, super hero CGI crap-ola, one filmmaker continues to turn out original, engaging, American masterpieces. Bob Richardson's brilliant cinematography didn't hurt neither (and I'm not talking about the landscapes, which are few, I'm talking about making a film taking place in one big room look better than Star Wars--that's genius).
Tarantino has got the suspense of Hitchcock and the bloody, gutsy take-no-prisoners attitude of Peckinpah. THIS is the film that film lovers have been waiting all year to see.
