Review of The Hateful Eight (2015) by M C — 12 May 2016
Tarantino at his best and doing his thing. Well written, slightly self-indulgent, and slightly too long for non-Tarantino fans, but for fans of Tarantino these are certainly not bad things! The violence continues the Django Unchained level of Western bloodlust and if Django was '10' then this has been turned up to 11 and is now comic book-level 'cartoon' gore! Easily QT's bloodiest film topping Kill Bill Volume.1!
The cast is amazing, the cinematography is epic and, as usual, the story is a fun, well made and compelling. (You'll be playing a guessing game right up to the finale),.
