This is a powerful movie. It hits all the notes on the keyboard : the ferocity, humor, tenderness, and abject terror that riddle the Race conflicts in the USA-- from the black point-of-view. Amandla Stenberg as Starr Carter is star quality indeed .
.. beautiful, expressive, and extremely talented. The rest of the cast admirably reflect her glow.
