I went to see this film today and I've got to say, it's not really the film you expected to see.
The movie follows Harry, his Nan (Julie) and his hamster, Abu, going to Blackpool for Abu's "apparent" last wish. During the film Otto (Matt) his evil twin and his sidekicks, Ed (Simon) and an other bloke try to stop Harry and Abu and his Nan.
The film has references to other films (I.e. Godzilla, Jurassic Park, King Kong, etc...) and jokes and stuff presented in Harry Hill manner.
However, the jokes and plot is where the film falls flat. The jokes become stale and some things in the feel outdated. For example, a bit in the story where Ed and the other bloke pose as Justin Bieber (Ed) and Selena Gomez (Bloke) felt kinda cringe filled for me. My friends went.
The plot feels nonsensical and the film feels quite short (88mins) just to pack in such action.
Overall, The Harry Hill Movie has its potential, but can't really live up to it. Fans of Harry Hill, I don't recommend it to you.
