The Hard Way is a great "buddy/action" movie. It has a great combination of action, suspense, and comedy. Michael J. Fox is fantastic as Nick Lang and James Woods does a good job as the hardened cop (a role I wouldn't usually think of him for).
I think that the story works very well and flows rather well. Definitely check this one out.
