Well, there were moments when I laughed out loud but most of the jokes I have either seen or heard before. The magic of seeing puppets in the real world is not present in this film. I feel like this is a feature length crime show that relies too much on the novelty of it's felt performers.
The usual Melissa McCarthy banter timing is obviously stifled.
