Review of The Happytime Murders (2018) by Kd C — 23 Aug 2018

I laughed a lot watching this movie, and enjoyed seeing the details of the construction of the puppet characters on the big screen. The first half of the movie was a fun ride, but the story sputters and eventually falls apart near the end.

That was okay for me, because I was watching it for jokes, and didn't expect a really sophisticated plot. I was entertained enough that I had a good time, but this movie really could have been a whole lot better.

The raunchy jokes were decent but the mystery noir dectective story ended up being really stupid (and a missed opportunity). There's certainly worse out there.
