Review of The Happy Film (2017) by Mownia M — 25 Jun 2017
Inspired by this film and the accompanying exhibition (The Happy Show). An intimate look at designer Stefan Sagmeister's life, and at times comedic and consoling exploration of meditation techniques, cognitive therapy and anti-depressants.
As an artist, he makes this attempt completely open to the world -- a brave act to share the mistrials with us. I feel the audience can easily commiserate, as I have with his 7 year journey, through the traveling exhibition and now film.
A must see for designers, artists, performance artists, comedians, easy hearts and pursuers of whatever helps you sleep better at night.
