If you were a man who made some of the most disturbingly violent and twisted films ever made and you decided you wanted to make a musical about a family's pursuit of happiness, this is what you'd make.
Every bit as messed-up and funny as you'd expect. Considerably less disturbing though. This is like Frank Capra does Miike.
