Review of The Happiest Millionaire (1967) by Daryl T — 08 Jan 2014
One of the longest Disney musicals ever, that could have been edited. But it still has its redeeming aspects with the Irish characters, the biddle bible class sweaters, the NYC high society, the Philadelphia ruffians, the hand to hand boxing and jujitsu, the crocodiles, dreamy Detroit, and the marines.
It manages to capture of the magical feeling of turn of the century America with new cars and Victorian architecture.
