Review of The Hangover Part III (2013) by Ville L — 02 Feb 2014
Great movie with a different storyline to it. It really blew me away with the change of the plot. I kinda ha low expectations for this one thinking it would be the exact same as Part I and Part II. Mr.
Chow and Alan are the stars of the show, and I didn't mind that. Stu has seemed to change a bit. With his glasses, his attitude towards Alan, and how he is more calm and relaxed throughout with the exception of being kidnapped with the Wolfpack.
I've noticed this one is more of a drama than a comedy. Though it has comedy in it, it has dark humor in the film. Such as a giraffe being decapitated, Black Doug being shot, Chow snapping 2 dogs necks(never seen, just mentioned), Alan wishing his mother to die before his father, and chickens being murdered.
This humor made the movie more interesting. The ending with the flashbacks of the Wolfpack walking together from Part I and Part II was very emotional especially with the music. The post credits scene is amazing with the humor it brings as well! Overall, I really enjoyed this movie because of the plot difference and the drama and humor it gives you.
