Review of The Hangover Part III (2013) by Walker S — 16 Dec 2014
It's good it is amazing it is a great ending to the series but the real question is it funny .
The truth Is this movie is a great ride but it is hardcore fan service. I feel that this movie was rushed the jokes struggle to find an audience. The jokes are a lot more Suttle and give off a quick chuckle but not the humor from the first or the even the second. Honestly If I made this movie I would have made it 2 hours 15 minutes at least instead of 1 hour 40 that way key plot details could be elaborated on and jokes would have more room to be off the wall funny. What is missing besides the jokes is the familiarity I respect the fact.
That the director didn't want this one to feel like a repeat of the first one as the 2nd one did but have a different plot route but doing that killed out a lot of ways to put in jokes I would of put more research into the scenario he used. I Loved the fact that there is some coming of age for Alan ...... Warning spoiler alert ( and Alan finds true love and grows up and gets married) but Zach Galifianakis didn't act awkward enough to make it actually feel like Alan. Hopefully this won't be the last ride for the wolf pack and there will be a fourth one that can live up to the bar set by the first hangover because this was not a amazing ending but it was solid in idea just not execution so I give hangover 3 a 3 out of 5.
