Review of The Hangover Part III (2013) by Dorian G — 22 Aug 2015
As trilogy movies go, this one is Matrix Revolutions. The quality is just so far from the first one. It's pointless, lazy, boring and worst of all, not at all funny. They think that decapitating a giraffe and suffocating a rooster is funny? One good example of how this movie misses at every opportunity: one of the maybe two times I laughed was when Alan is trying to smoothly leave the pawn shop and knocks over the cello.
So what do they do? Have him do it again 10 seconds later. It was funny the first time, you can stop there. And the solution for this movie was not adding more of Mr. Chow, who has always been more annoying than interesting.
There were times where I could tell they were just trying to drag this thing out to 90 minutes. Bradley Cooper deserves better than this.
