More of the same isn't always a bad thing, but unfortunately The Hangover Part 2 doesn't pull it off. The first movie worked because audiences didn't know what to expect, and the premise was unique.
The problem with this sequel is that it never does anything differently. In fact, it basically mirrors the entire layout of the first movie, just in a new setting. There are some decent jokes, but everything feels too familiar to warrant a recommendation.
