Review of The Hangover Part II (2011) by Brian S — 23 May 2013

Way too dark to be a successful follow-up to the first film. There were definitely some funny moments, but they were so overshadowed by the lack of happiness throughout the movie. Taking the movie away from Vegas also weakened - if not entirely destroyed - the magic that the first one had.

Essentially the same outline as the first installment, but much darker and much raunchier. I will also never forgive this movie for killing the Jade-Stu relationship. This one is what we would call the screw-up half-brother of the family.
