Review of The Hangover (2009) by Vince V — 06 Jan 2014
Some of The Hangover's dialogue is admittedly funny, but the narrative is unimaginative and the jokes are hit-or-miss, (about 50-50, maybe less) succumbing a few times too often to distasteful humor, while the characters, who exude no distinctive personalities, act only as vehicles through which the jokes can be made. 5 years down the road, it will undoubtedly be forever relegated to that class of film that middle school kids take to their sleepovers to tell themselves that they are adults.
*2/4*.
