The movie goes a bit beyond the usual drunken bro-venture not only due to the all-in quality of its cast and the crazy situations, but also because of the skillfully serious cinematography and a dark undertone that rides along with the story.
It's really a noir comedy. Careless people doing bad things and laughing at their survival luck.
