Amazingly great movie. Loved it, laughed, had a raucous time, very original... and paved the way for two amazing sequels. The best comedy of 2009, best moviegoing experience of that summer. The perfect buddy movie, for me.
One of my all-time favorites! Such a fun, funny, clever, high octane hilarious thrill ride with old dinosaur style basic thrills based on raunch and excess, which is something people like me love and understand in movies so all in all the excess and complete childish goofiness was surprising because the style of this movie was a ridiculously good time and it's actually quite clever for a detective story, it has grown men getting into manly, non-childish situations that thrill the easygoing type.
Such a surprising, shot in the dark. I don't think anyone expected this, and that's what makes it so special.
