Review of The Hand That Rocks the Cradle (1992) by Rob R — 08 Jun 2007
Somewhat psychological thriller following in the suspenseful wake of "Silence of the Lambs." Although some of the performances seem over the top by today's standards, De Mornay's characterization remains top notch.
Most importantly, the film benefits from a more subdued soundtrack minus some of the stereotypical cues, allowing the story and action to take you by surprise.
