Review of The Hand That Rocks the Cradle (1992) by Diana B — 15 Apr 2008
Rebecca De Mornay excels as Peyton Flanders, the woman who takes mis-guided and wrongful vengeance against the Bartel family who she blames for the suicide of her husband and her painful miscarriage in this thriller.
With a recognizable cast and great performances, this film is a tense build-up of conflict and follows along the untimely motto: "The hand that rocks the cradle is the hand that rules the world".
With an unforgettable climax of Peyton's deadly revenge as the nanny to the Bartel family, it may already be too late for the woman she blames for ruining her life.
