Review of The Hallow (2015) by Darren H — 18 Mar 2016
This creepy, woodsy li'l horror flick weaves elements of "The Descent," "Pumpkinhead," "The Guardian," "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" and a Grimm fairy tale into a story about a conservationist and his family who move to remote forest that is feared by the locals.
There is a wicked fungus in the woods with supernatural tendencies, and this leads to body horror and some nasty special effects that gore connoisseurs will eat up. So glad I gave this a peek.
