Review of The Hallow (2015) by Cade H — 10 Apr 2016
The Hallow was a fun, creepy horror flick that did not stray to far from the norm but it did enough to make it better then most in the genre. A couple and their baby move into a house deep in the woods and soon begin to experience things that go bump in the night.
Nothing major really happens until one big moment and then from that point on they are out for survival and protecting their child. The "monsters" once revealed are fairly scary and their are some really great tense moments.
I can't say I was the biggest fan of how the story ended up but it made sense and provided closure to the film. The Hallow isn't an overly scary movie but it will creep you out a little and provide enough entertainment to make it worth a watch.
