Review of The Hairdresser's Husband (1990) by Thérèse F — 03 Jun 2008
Much as I may feign to deny it, I quite obviously do have a sappily romantic side. I thought this odd movie was both romantically elating and romantically devastating. The bit near the end when Rochefort's character starts dancing to the Indian music and then stops and sits down again mid-dance chokes me up every time.
