There's something about romantic dramas that I've always liked. And what I liked about his one was the fact that the romance built up during the course of the movie. It wasn't the thunderstrike love sometimes is depicted as.
The characters came of as somewhat insecure at times, and at others strong and brave. They struck a good balance for making the leads real people that way. Often.
