I have a soft spot for men-on-a-mission movies. It was about time I watched one of the most famous in the genre.

Not much has changed in these kind of films. There's always the gentlemanly British type, the master gunman, as well as the expert knife fighter. This time, however, the knife dude turned out to be the biggest pussy of them all.

I must once again marvel the slow pacing of yesteryear's movies. There is no hurry whatsoever, with anything. Directing is also soothingly calm, as the music video guys weren't born yet. I have to say, though, that they sure as fuck didn't know how to die back then. Couple of the death scenes are hilarious.

Also, am I the only one who got some weird Star Wars vibes from the sequence where the Nazis employ the guns? The gun drones even have weird matching uniforms, like the death star workers. Strange shit.
