Not a great movie by any means; it's not a terrible one either. Sean Penn is probably too good for this material, but if he's OK with doing a standard action movie, so am I. Filmed in Spain and Africa, this is a pretty, if somewhat simple movie.
A strong cast elevates the film, but God help me, I can't handle any more of Javier Bardem.
