Review of The Gunman (2015) by Caleb C — 30 Jun 2015
Sean Penn, whose dramatic roles exist on a pedestal with some of the greatest, approaches the action-hero genre of "The Gunman" fairly well. The only caveat is that he isn't as convincing a presence behind the gun as Liam Neeson, and the film his character exists in takes itself far too seriously.
