Review of The Gunman (2015) by Nadjib R — 19 Jul 2015
A lot of the critics really put The Gunman down calling it "incoherent" and "dull", but I felt like it was pretty good. Sean Penn is a very capable action star and felt that the action scenes were pretty solid.
However, there are some flaws. The Gunman does tend to move slow and the plot gets kind of muddled about half way through, but these things don't make it a bad film. Is The Gunman worth watching? Sure it is.
Is it great? Absolutely not, but it's not nearly as bad as those mainstream critics make it out to be.
