Review of The Gumball Rally (1976) by Private U — 13 Mar 2008
As any true car guy will agree, a superior movie in every way to the Cannonball Run. While it still had plenty of comedy, it never forgot about the race itself, from one coast to the other, and featured far more memorable cars, in the form of Raul Julia's Ferrari Daytona and Michael Sarrazin's 427 Shelby Cobra, it's far from perfect in terms of the racing/driving scenes, but it's so much fun it doesn't matter.
