Review of The Guilt Trip (2012) by Matthew L — 29 Apr 2013
It was a fun, good effort for such a film. You can understand what they wanted to accomplish. I'm not quite sure that they did. A couple of laughs. The emotional scenes weren't as touching as one would like.
Seth Rogen doesn't really benefit from the pg-13 rating and his book school nerdy character. He becomes limited with his improve. It was a nice attempt, but not enough laughs or emotion. 4.30.13.
