Review of The Guilt Trip (2012) by I-Onell S — 04 May 2013
If I had to describe the guilt trip with two words it would be: Awkward and annoying. The 2 leads, are really charismatic and have a good on screen chemestry, but the characters they are portraying are very unlikable, especially Streisand who I wanted to murder only after 2 minutes of movie.
Most of the jokes fall flat and aren't very well written. The plot works for that kind of movie, but is really nothing special. The movie plays itself very safe and too seriously for a road trip comedy.
