Review of The Guilt Trip (2012) by Terrence G — 06 Sep 2013
A very sweet and charming story of the relationship between a grown son and his mother, as they take a road trip across the United States. Along the way, they grow as people, uncovering a new appreciation for their relationship as well as an ability to define and assert their own independence.
I had low expectations for the movie, but was pleasantly surprised how much better it was than the mean-spritied reviews would have you believe. A really good comedy has the humour come from the characters and not the situation.
