Review of The Guilt Trip (2012) by Timm S — 01 May 2014

Okay so Im not a fan of either Seth Rogan nor Barbra Streisands work, and from the start I built an opinion of this, expecting a really boring and forgettable experience. This movie didn't change my view on either actor and my prediction was fairly accurate however, credit where its due.

The Guilt Trip did provide an unlikely attempt of a road trip movie. The mother/son relationship is rarely touched upon in movies and as a comedy it kind of worked. It wasn't overly funny, it never was going to be but it did give the audience something to think about and the flaws in there relationship and the films ending did make for a fairly satisfying experience.
